Entry #6 The Blog About Nothing....

FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL! Oh how I love writing about football. Lets get right into it.

The Bengals are so back. It seems like Cincinnati's favorite thing to do every year is to pretend they suck in the first few weeks and then decide to become the best team in the NFL halfway through the season. Joe Burrow is healthy, Jamar Chase continues to dominate, and the defense is playing well too. They do have their work cut out for them, though, because the Ravens are red-hot, the Browns' defense is almost impenetrable, and somehow the Mike Tomlin-led Steelers just continue to keep winning. All of the AFC North teams are competitive right now. I just personally see the Bengals continuing to dominate while the others slow down as the season carries along. In my eyes, come January, they will be in the playoffs one way or another.

The Eagles and Chiefs are showcasing an impressive level of consistency and even improvement this season. The Eagles' execution of the "tush push" has become a standout play, and their GM's adept talent additions seem almost limitless, raising questions about their financial wizardry.

Turning our attention to the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, widely regarded as the best QB in the NFL and a potential all-time great, continues to lead with remarkable finesse. What's striking is his ability to secure victories primarily with Travis Kelce, highlighting the exceptional synergy between the two. Head Coach Andy Reid and Mahomes seem to possess a unique chemistry, setting them apart.

Looking ahead, it's not a stretch to picture the Eagles and Chiefs securing the top seeds and earning first-round byes come January. Their performances underscore not just their skill on the field but also the strategic brilliance behind the scenes. The Eagles and Chiefs are redefining excellence in football, leaving fans eager to see how their seasons unfold.

So we know whos good at football right now. But who sucks? Don't worry, I will tell ya.

The Cardinals' season has unfolded in a unique and disheartening manner. Despite managing to stay competitive in most games, there's a sudden regression that makes them look like a high school team. The absence of Kyler Murray throughout the season has left the franchise in a tough spot, and it's becoming increasingly apparent that a significant turnaround might be out of reach. As the Bird Gang faces these challenges, the focus may shift towards looking ahead to the draft. The season has been a dud for Cardinals fans, and the hope for improvement seems to be fading, leaving many to ponder what the future holds for their team.

Another addition to the "suck" list is Zach Wilson, a source of frustration for many, including myself. Jets fans began the season with high hopes, only to be swiftly returned to the misery of watching Wilson lead the offense. Despite having talent around him and an explosive defense for support, Wilson has grappled with consistent execution as a quarterback.

Yet, the optimism among Jets fans persists. As of now, there's still a glimmer of hope for a playoff berth. The key factor will be whether Zach can find a way to perform, paving the way for the experienced Aaron Rodgers to take over when the playoffs arrive. The Jets' playoff aspirations hinge on Wilson's ability to elevate his game in the crucial moments ahead.
